I met Evalena Marie and Frank Monteleone during Little Gold Star. Two of the most brilliant actors I’ve ever worked with and incredible filmmakers in their own right, they also happen to be wonderful people. I knew immediately I would want to work them again in any way possible.

Thankfully, I got the chance. Evalena wrote a beautiful, terrifying script and the three of us got together to shoot it, along with the incredible Mike Infante, who served as the entirety of our crew. The experience directing Frank and Ev was intense, surprising, and extremely cathartic. I was fortunate to be there to guide them as best I could, but more often I just let them cook. What resulted is an incredibly absorbing and unsettling portrait of a doomed couple. I love it, and can’t wait for the next one.
